IWHOD: International Workshop on HIV Observational
Databases
EuroCoord, in partnership with the IWHOD
scientific committee (SC), has taken over the organisation and
administration of IWHOD as from 2009.
The objective of this highly successful
workshop is to bring together researchers from both developed and
developing countries working on cohorts of patients with HIV, to
present in an informal, closed-meeting format new research and
allow open discussions on common issues of cohort methodology,
techniques and statistics.
Indeed, the presented data are not made public
through this workshop thereby allowing for discussion of
work-in-progress not presented in other conferences (e.g. abstracts
accepted to the Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic
Infections (CROI) cannot be invited to IWHOD). The table below
gives an overview of the participants and the workshop over
time.
