Resistance Skills meetings
The Resistance Skills meetings were
coordinated by the EuropeHIVResistance Network (EHR) from the
University Medical Center Utrecht.
The aim of these courses was to use
practical training to generate insight into clinical interpretation
of HIV-1 drug resistance tests (laboratory tools). Clinicians
were invited to bring forward difficult cases in an interactive
manner with voting pads.
Clinical experts from EuropeHIVResistance as
well as the NEAT network discussed clinical cases. Clinical
virologists from EuropeHIVResistance acted as discussion
moderators. Experience from this clinic served as input for of the
resistance skills series.
